This family run hotel complex comprises two distinct sections; the original part, sitting on a cliff, whilst a more recent addition, the Penha França Mar, is located right on the ocean shore with direct access to the sea via a swimming platform. A small footbridge and a lift connect the two hotels, and guests have access to all the facilities offered.

Located just 300 metres from the city centre. The airport is approx 22km.

Facilities

Facilities include a lobby featuring a 24-hour reception service, hotel safes, a currency exchange counter and a lift, further facilities include heated seawater pool, pool bar, a cafe, an Irish-style pub with a billiards table and TV corner, an air-conditioned la carte restaurant (terrace, non-smoking area, high chairs for infants), conference rooms and a public internet terminal. In addition, there is a laundry service, room service, medical assistance (local charges apply) as well as a playground on offer. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park or garage.
